Our smartphones serve as tracking devices, constantly reporting our geographical location to various servers. In a seminar at the Foerder Institute For Economic Research, in Tel Aviv University School of Economics, I will talk about the characteristics of location tracking, how it can revolutionize social sciences, and what are the privacy consequences of this constant tracking. At the same seminar, Sarit Weisburd (TAU School of Economics), will talk about how location data can help us understand whether police presence affects driving behavior.

The seminar will be at Thursday May 14th, 18:00-20:00, at room 010 at the School of Economics, Tel Aviv University. More information in the event page.
