I am a faculty member at the Department of Industrial EngineeringThe Iby and Aladar Fleischman Faculty of Engineering Tel Aviv University, where I am a tenured senior lecturer (equivalent to assistant professor).

Previously I was a visiting Associate Professor at Cornell Tech, in New York, and a post-doctoral fellow at Carnegie Mellon University. My Ph.D. is from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology.

Founding member, Privacy Israel – a new non-profit for the promotion of privacy in Israel.

Research Interests

  • Usable privacy and security: Information privacy, privacy in social networks, privacy in mobile and pervasive computing, privacy in genetic databases
  • Human-Computer Interaction: Interaction with mobile computing, the physical context of interaction, interruptive computing, AI methods for HCI
  • Machine Learning for Human Behavior: Analyzing patterns of human behavior, data-driven smart cities, and approximation methods
