The objective of MINIMA – “Less is More: Addressing Mobile Application Security and Privacy through Debloating” is to address security and privacy challenges that arise from feature creep and over-extended permissions. MINIMA aims to investigate methods to debloat Android apps based on usage profile of end users.

This is a joint project with Debin Gao (SMU), David Lo (SMU), and Shahar Maoz (TAU).

The project is funded by Singapore’s National Cybersecurity R&D Programme (NCR) and the Blavatnik Interdisciplinary Cyber Research Center (ICRC) in Israel.
