I am happy to announce that two new papers were recently published at the The Proceedings of the ACM on Interactive, Mobile, Wearable and Ubiquitous Technologies (IMWUT). The two papers are the fruits of our project “Safety and privacy of smart city mobile applications” with Shahar Maoz and Eran Tromer from Tel Aviv University, and David Lo and Debin Gao from Singapore Management University (SMU). Our part in this project is to think about how vulnerable populations, mainly older adults (people who are 65 years old or older), can be protected.

The second paper, headed by the SMU group, details several experiments withAppMoD,a community-based tool that allows delegation of security and privacy decisions a trusted social connection, such as a family member or a close friend.
