New workshop paper — Aging Safely Online: Cultural Aspects of Social Support Technologies

We are happy to announce that a new workshop paper will be presented by our Ph.D. candidate, Tamir Mendel, at the CHI 2021 workshop “Designing Interactions for the Ageing Populations – Addressing Global Challenges“. The paper will be presented via video on May 9th.

The paper describes cultural aspects that we encountered in working with Israeli older adults about a social support mobile app, and sheds light on their experiences when interacting with their families or close friends in tackling online safety challenges.
