This week, HaMagen 2, Israel’s Ministry of Health is planning to release the second version of the official contact tracing app. To address this release, we have organized a free webinar about Privacy in Contact Tracing Apps, happening on Tuesday, July 28th at 17:00 (and in Hebrew). The webinar was organized with Dr. Eyal Ronen, and is hosted by the CPIIS – Checkpoint Institute of Information Security.
At the seminar, we will host the chief CTO of the Health Ministry and dive into the privacy engineering of the HaMagen. We will hear about the lab’s new study about privacy and approaches towards installations of HaMagen, and discuss the effects of privacy designs, democracy, and freedom.
Participating at the webinar is free but requires registration. Webcast access is open. More information here.
