We are excited to announce that a new study by Frank Bolton, Neta Maimon, Dov Te’eni and Eran Toch was accepted to IEEE LifeTech 2021. The paper titled “Detecting interruption events using EEG” adds new insight to understanding the effect of different types of notifications on users’ brains. By using the Neurosteer wearable EEG sensor, we show that specific features can distinguish between notifications that interrupt the user’s activity and notifications that the user can disregard.  We will post the short camera-ready paper when it is published.
