A popular lecture given at the Dizzy Frishdon Pub as part of the Wize pubs lecture series. The lecture looks at 5 recurring myths regarding privacy, e.g. “people don’t care about privacy anymore”, and argues that these myths are limited at best, or simply wrong. Then, the lecture takes a long view of privacy, and tries to portray a path at how people’s evolving norms, technology, and regulation, will all interact in the future.
